    Meet Chris Ballard, CFP®

    As the owner and CEO of Ballard Financial Group, Chris Ballard is focused on helping clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for retirement income.

    Chris has 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is an Investment Adviser Representative and Insurance Professional. Before starting in the industry in 1987, Chris pursued a career in the FBI. One month before he was scheduled to start training, the government implemented a hiring freeze. A friend recommended that Chris work in the senior health care insurance industry instead, and he did. Eight years later, Chris opened his own financial practice.

    Chris has passed the Series 65 exam, holds life and health licenses, and has received his CFP® designation from the University of Denver. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Eckerd College.

    Chris lives in Minneola, Florida, with his wife of more than 30 years, their two daughters and their Labrador retrievers. In his free time, Chris enjoys watching his daughters play sports, going on family outings, riding road bikes, fishing, boating and vacationing with his wife.


    randyMeet Randy Dillard

    Randy Dillard is the account manager at Ballard Financial Group. He is a graduate of the University Of Georgia where he completed post graduate studies in behavior modification.

    A twenty-eight year veteran in the hospitality and financial services industries, Randy's communication skills, clarity of vision and strength of conviction pack a powerful punch. Throughout his career, he has developed many high-performance marketing teams that empowered team members to achieve clear, focused and profit-oriented yields.

    From 1994 – 2001, Randy worked at two insurance companies: AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company (1994-1998) and National Life Insurance Company (1998-2001).

    During his previous career in hospitality, Randy was the owner of an independent financial and hospitality practice that helped clients create enthusiastic and effective sales cultures. Randy led client development and facilitated the development of strategic plans, research, budgets and market initiatives. His company helped one client launch a campaign that secured a public/private bid on the $110 million Osceola County Convention Center.

    Randy is a twenty-eight year resident of Central Florida and currently lives with his wife and two children in Kissimmee.
